At 6:30 p.m., internationally renowned trauma expert Professor Bessel van der Kolk and Licia Sky, Co-Founder of the Trauma Research Foundation, will present an exceptional keynote on the Sensory Consequences of Trauma. Drawing on the latest neuroscience and decades of clinical experience, they will explore the unique role of olfaction in trauma and its relevance for integrative clinical practice. The lecture will be followed by a brief guided experiential session, offering participants a first-hand exploration of the connection between sensory perception, embodiment, and meaning-making.
The evening will continue at 7:30 p.m. with a cocktail reception on the panoramic terrace of the Convention Centre, featuring interactive culinary experiences, a photo booth, and background music.
